9:00 am - Nos encontramos en la plaza de armas de Cajamarca para abordar la movilidad o los recogemos de su alojamiento (previa coordinación).
10:15 am - Llegamos a la Ex Casa Hacienda Yumagual para realizar una caminata suave por el borde de la quebrada formada por el cauce de las aguas frías y calientes.
Mientras más nos acercamos podemos observar pozas naturales que se han formado en las caídas de agua. Al llegar a la catarata de Agua caliente podremos darnos un relajante baño y disfrutar de los beneficios de las aguas termo-medicinales del lugar mientras observamos el paisaje rodeado de bosques y flora local.
11:30 am - Tendremos tiempo para explorar este enigmático lugar. Nos dirigimos al punto exacto desde donde brota el agua hirviendo a altas temperaturas (ojos de agua caliente).
Después de haber conocido este bello recurso turístico nos dirigimos hacia nuestra siguiente parada.
1:00 pm - Almorzaremos en un restaurante local.
3:00 pm - Nuestro próximo destino será el Sitio Arqueológico Yanaorco, ubicado en la parte alta de la cordillera occidental de Cajamarca a 3550 msnm., este lugar nos permite obtener unas increíbles vistas panorámicas y poder recorrer sus antiguos senderos y murallas.
Considerada una Zona Arqueológica Monumental, las dataciones por radiocarbono y la cronología cerámica la ubican dentro del Período Intermedio Tardío (1000-1465 d.C), perteneciente a la cultura Cajamarca. Yanaorco tenía una ubicación estratégica en la división continental y tiene una vista sobre los 500 m del paso de montaña El Gavilán, desde este punto los ocupantes de Yanaorco tenían una muy buena vista de la cuenca de Cajamarca al norte y la parte alta del Valle de Jequetepeque al oeste, además podían tener una posición de monitoreo y posiblemente de control de tráfico y comunicación a lo largo de lo que podría ser una ruta muy importante entre la costa y la sierra.

ITINERARY
9:00 am - We meet at the main square of Cajamarca to board the transport or we pick you up from your accommodation (by prior arrangement).
10:15 am - We arrived at the former Yumagual Hacienda House to take a gentle walk along the edge of the ravine formed by the flow of cold and hot waters.
As we get closer, we can see natural pools formed by the waterfalls. Upon reaching the Agua Caliente waterfall, we can take a relaxing dip and enjoy the benefits of the thermal-medicinal waters while admiring the landscape surrounded by forests and local flora.
11:30 am - We'll have time to explore this enigmatic place. We head to the exact spot where the hot springs (ojos de agua caliente) spring out.
After exploring this beautiful tourist attraction, we headed toward our next stop.
1:00 pm - We will have lunch at a local restaurant.
3:00 pm - Our next destination will be the Yanaorco Archaeological Site, located in the high part of the western mountain range of Cajamarca at 3,550 meters above sea level. This place allows us to obtain incredible panoramic views and to walk its ancient paths and walls.
Considered a Monumental Archaeological Zone, radiocarbon dating and ceramic chronology place it within the Late Intermediate Period (1000-1465 AD), belonging to the Cajamarca culture. Yanaorco had a strategic location on the continental divide and has a view over the 500 m El Gavilán mountain pass. From this vantage point, the occupants of Yanaorco had a very good view of the Cajamarca basin to the north and the upper part of the Jequetepeque Valley to the west. They could also have had a monitoring position and possibly controlled traffic and communications along what could have been a very important route between the coast and the mountains.
