ITINERARIO
8:00 am - Nos encontramos en la plaza de armas de Cajamarca para abordar la movilidad o los recogemos de su alojamiento (previa coordinación).
8:30 am - La ruta nos dirige hacia el norte y pasaremos por el Centro Poblado de Huambocancha, en donde realizaremos nuestra primera parada para observar el trabajo artesanal de los picapedreros, quienes realizan diversos trabajos en roca como mármol, roca volcánica, etc. Nos tomaremos fotos en las esculturas del lugar y podremos adquirir algún recuerdo artesanal (opcional)
9:30 am - Haremos una parada en el punto más alto de la ruta a +3600 msnm para observar el paisaje rodeado de montañas y bosques inmensos de pinos pertenecientes a la Cooperativa de Granja Porcón.
Tendremos unos momentos para apreciar el paisaje y tomarnos fotografías.
10:30 am - Llegamos a la plaza principal del distrito de Tumbadén, realizaremos una breve parada en el lugar para tomarnos algunas fotografías de recuerdo y continuaremos el recorrido.
11:00 am - Inicia nuestro recorrido de caminata, a 5 minutos llegamos a Las Ventanillas de Tumbadén, un cementerio pre-inca de la Cultura Cajamarca en donde observaremos los nichos funerarios tallados en la roca por los antiguos pobladores de esta zona, recorreremos el lugar y podremos obtener buenas fotografías, divisamos el Río Grande y todo el bosque nativo de la zona.
12:00 pm - Llegaremos a la Catarata el Triángulo, una caída de agua de más de 20 metros que al deslizarse por la roca toma forma triangular. Este espectáculo natural nos permitirá obtener fotos espectaculares; además, durante la caminata se observan bellos paisajes andinos.
2:30 pm - Almorzaremos en un restaurante local.
5:00 pm - Llegada a Cajamarca

Tiempo y clima
● En Cajamarca, durante los meses de octubre hasta diciembre existe probabilidad de lluvias de nivel medio. Desde enero hasta abril tenemos alta probabilidad de lluvias principalmente en las tardes, es por ello que se recomienda llevar un paraguas, plástico o poncho para la lluvia.
● En los meses de mayo hasta septiembre tenemos clima principalmente templado seco con días soleados por las mañanas y por las tardes un cielo despejado o nublado parcialmente.
● El mes con temperatura más alta es setiembre (22.2°C); la temperatura más baja se da en el mes de julio (4.9°C); y llueve con mayor intensidad en el mes de marzo (118.78 mm/mes) Fuente: Senamhi Perú
Vestimenta
● Llevar consigo ropa cómoda y ligera como casacas cortavientos y polos manga larga para caminar y no logre sofocarse rápidamente. En ocasiones cuando la altitud es igual o mayor a 3200 msnm deberá llevar ropa de abrigo y/o impermeable, guantes y gorro para abrigarse. Si fuese necesario llevar botas para caminar en barro si el tour lo requiere.
● Recomendamos siempre llevar un gorro o sombrero, bloqueador solar, repelente para mosquitos, lentes de sol y zapatillas o zapatos cómodos para caminar, con la finalidad de que el cliente esté protegido frente a la radiación solar, polvo, viento, etc. que son situaciones propias de las actividades al aire libre.

ITINERARY
8:00 am - We meet at the main square of Cajamarca to board the transport or we pick you up from your accommodation (by prior arrangement).
8:30 am - The route heads north and we will pass through the town of Huambocancha, where we will make our first stop to observe the artisanal work of the stonemasons, who make various works in rock such as marble, volcanic rock, etc. We will take photos of the sculptures of the place and we will be able to buy some handmade souvenirs (optional)
9:30 am - We will stop at the highest point of the route at +3600 meters above sea level to observe the landscape surrounded by mountains and immense pine forests belonging to the Porcón Farm Cooperative.
We will have a few moments to appreciate the landscape and take photographs.
10:30 am - We arrive at the main square of the Tumbadén district. We'll make a brief stop to take some souvenir photos and then continue the tour.
11:00 am - We begin our hike. After 5 minutes we arrive at Las Ventanillas de Tumbadén, a pre-Inca cemetery of the Cajamarca Culture where we will observe the funerary niches carved into the rock by the ancient inhabitants of this area. We will walk around the place and we will be able to take good photographs. We will see the Río Grande and all the native forest of the area.
12:00 pm - We'll arrive at the Triangle Waterfall, a waterfall over 20 meters high that forms a triangular shape as it cascades down the rock. This natural spectacle allows for spectacular photos; the hike also offers beautiful Andean landscapes.
2:30 pm - We will have lunch at a local restaurant.

Weather and climate
● In Cajamarca, there is a moderate chance of rain from October to December. From January to April, there is a high chance of rain, especially in the afternoons. Therefore, it is recommended to bring an umbrella, plastic sheeting, or a rain poncho.
● From May to September, we have a mostly dry, temperate climate with sunny mornings and clear to partly cloudy skies in the afternoons.

Outfit
● Bring comfortable, lightweight clothing such as windbreakers and long-sleeved polo shirts for hiking so you don't overheat quickly. Occasionally, when the altitude is 3,200 meters above sea level, you should bring warm and/or waterproof clothing, gloves, and a hat. If necessary, bring mud boots if the tour requires them.
● We always recommend wearing a hat, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, sunglasses, and comfortable walking shoes to protect guests from solar radiation, dust, wind, and other harmful elements that are common during outdoor activities.
